Halloween Trick or Treat Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Halloween Trick or Treat Blog Hop. If you just came from Janice's Blog: www.cricutconfessions.com then you are on the right track. If you get lost along the way, please visit our fabulous host Kathryn at www.creationswithkathryn.com for the complete lineup.

My project for today is a super easy paper strip pumpkin. These pumpkins would be a fabulous craft to do with your little ones as well. For this pumpkin I used 12 paper strips (2"x12"). You can get 6 strips from 1 piece of 12x12 cardstock.

I created an svg file of some leaves and vines. I then cut them with my beast...the Lynx. I attached them to the top of the pumpkin along with a ribbon and raffia bow. To download the free leaves/vines for this pumpkin click the following link: PUMPKIN LEAVES
For a great tutorial on making these cute punkin's, visit All Free Holiday Crafts.

Like I said, these are so super easy to make and look great as home decor.

Now, onto some blog candy....

I love this pumpkin! I have seen these all over the blog world, but I really love the papers you have used! And your vines and leaves are cute. I wish I could use SVG files. That was sweet of you to give us the files. And thanks for the link to the tutorial for the pumpkins - I may get around to making them before Thanksgiving is over ;) I am a follower already of your lovely blog. Thanks for 2 days of fun projects!

I love the paper you choose for your pumpkin! Cute cute. I made one these earlier as an apple and it makes a cute apple for back-to-school also! I snagged your leaves! Thanks for sharing. I'm already a follower.

How funny! It looks like if I had been able to put up a day 2 project we would have both done these pumpkins. Mine was being made into a jack-o-lantern!
