I created this layout for Papercraft Star's challenge 27. The challenge is as follows:
Make a card, layout, altered item, gift or home decor project using one of your New Year's Resolutions as your inspiration. Be sure to include the New Year's Resolution as part of your project description on your blog!
I actually have two New Year's resolutions. One is to take more photos of my children together. I have tons of photos of them individually but very few together. Not sure why that happened but I plan to fix that. I have already taken photos and plan to start new layouts soon. My other resolution is to create more layouts of me and my hubby together.
For this layout I used K & Company's Marine Paper Stack. I cut some simple basic stars using Make-the-Cut. I embossed them using my sizzix then added some stickles to a few edges. I used a flourish from Images by Heather M. You should definately pay her a visit. I'm sure you will be as pleased as I was. Thanks Heather!! It is a simple layout but I loved the way it came out.
Thanks for visiting today and as always....ENJOY!!
