Finally the Parrot!!

I finally got around to finishing the parrot for my upcoming scrapbook page. It seems like I've been working on this page forever so I'm definately ready to move on to another project. As soon as I finish I will post pictures. I was asked about the stitching on this file and since I'm not that big into stitching my pages they were simply done with a fine point sharpie marker.

Ok, so I also needed some cute firecrackers for my upcoming scrapbook page and decided to make those as well today. If your using with MTC (Make-the-Cut) you will have to "join" the stars with their coordinating backgrounds after you do the "Break". For some reason my MTC and Inkscape aren't playing nicely together today. I think they may need a time out. Along with the heart below, these will pop off the page much better with some inked edges;)

American Flag Heart

Just in time for the 4th. Since I redesigned my blog for our upcoming Independence Day, I thought I could at least make a new file for my scrapbooking page. For the best results cut the shadow layer in white and ink the edges of everything. It will save you so much time and looks alot better than trying to do blackout layers under everything. Happy 4th and Happy scrapping!!
